The world’s most prestigious Italian luxury menswear couture house, Brioni was founded in Rome in 1945 by two Italian visionaries — the tailor Nazareno Fonticoli and entrepreneur Gaetano Savini. All products are made in Italy and meticulously handcrafted by expert artisans in the Abruzzo region, which has a rich tailoring tradition. The house is revered for its personalised Bespoke approach. Its product range comprises all categories of men’s apparel and accessories, including shoes, leather goods, jewellery, eyewear and fragrances.
An Italian national, Fabrizio Malverdi started his career in the advertising industry. Mr. Malverdi became director of Staff International in 1996, in charge of the Vivienne Westwood and Martin Margiela licenses and international subsidiaries.
In 2000, he joined the Italian group Mariella Burani, where he was successively managing director of Calvin Klein Collection, CEO of Mila Schon Group and managing director of Antichi Pellettieri, backed by LCapital.
Fabrizio Malverdi joined LVMH in 2006 as CEO of John Galliano. He was subsequently appointed president and CEO of Givenchy in 2008, and managing director of Dior Homme in 2011.
From 2016 he was CEO of Agent Provocateur.
Mr. Malverdi graduated in management from Bologna University.
