    Brilliant Biennale

    Now in its sixth decade, the Biennale des Antiquaires, the world’s most glamorous art fair, opens at Paris’ Grand Palais this week and runs until 21 September. Boucheron’s collection Reves d’ailleurs (Dreams from afar), takes you on a sumptuous journey, real or imagined, through Persia, Japan, China, India and Russia.

    Girl Summit 2014

    A couple of weeks ago the world was given the opportunity to move out of the dark ages, providing hope for the future. The breadth and seniority of delegates at Girl Summit 2014 in London demonstrated there is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring female genital mutilation (FGM) and child, early and forced marriages (CEFM) to an end.

    "Empowering Imagination"

    Parsons The New School for Design and Kering have announced the 2 winners in the 3rd annual “Empowering Imagination” design competition: Justin Chu for his women’s ready-to-wear designs and Mijia Zhang for her unisex collection. They will be awarded an internship at one of Kering’s brands and take part in a closed mentoring session with Honorable Mention is being awarded to Ximon Lee for his menswear collection.

    Kering has been recognised as one of the “greenest” company’s worldwide by Newsweek Magazine’s Green Rankings released today, coming in fourth position in the overall Global 500 list and as top-ranked in consumer discretionary companies within the Global 500.

    Kering awarded at the 2014 Global Summit of Women

    The Group was among the awardees at the Global Women’s Leadership Awards Ceremony at the 2014 Summit which took place in Paris, France. A business summit, the GSW’s focuses on women’s advancement in the global economy by connecting women worldwide from all sectors – public, private and nonprofit.

    The Supreme Price

    Winner of a 2012 Spotlighting Women Documentary Awards, The Supreme Price by Joanna Lipper featured at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival. The Kering Foundation supported this premiere of the film, which tells the story of Hafsat Abiola – CHIME FOR CHANGE Advisory Board Member - in her fight for democracy and women's rights in Nigeria.

  • Kering teams with Tsinghua
    Talent in China

    The Group has formed two partnerships with the famous Chinese university: one executive education programme with Tsinghua and HEC Paris to support talent development in China and, the second with the Tsinghua Foundation to provide students and young creative talents Chinese means to succeed.
