ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Buying: - Build qualitative and quantitative assortment with history sales knowledge and the market insight at store level based on the store profile and cluster. - Seasonal OTB planning and sales forecast for assigned categories based on business plan and sales target. • Stock management: - Including regular stock allocation and replenishment from warehouse to stores and timely stock rebalance, regrouping and consolidation between the stores to optimize the stock level at store level to meet the sales target and achieve the seasonal sell-thru target. - Work closely with HQ SC team to track and manager the new season collection delivery and launch for China simultaneously with worldwide. - Stock monitor and control based on actual sales trend to shape the action plan and decided if additional stock delivery or any cancellation is needed to be called out. • Merchandising expertise: - Seasonal collection feedback - Trend and consumer insight - Competitors research and market needs briefing - Pricing and analysis • Teamwork: - Cross function work including VM, marketing and retail team. - Closely work and proper communication with HQ counterparts. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor degree in fashion, textiles or other related disciplines • Minimum 5-7 years’ solid experience in fashion merchandising/buying with international luxury retail companies is preferred. • Strong fashion and market sense with consumer insights • Well organized, self-initiative, excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills • Good team player with strong sense of responsibility • Good PC skills, particularly excellent excel skills • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin • Frequent travel is required
