GUCCI Store Manager

* Role Mission - Business Management - Client Management - Staff Management - Communication and Reporting • Operate the store through superior customer service, sales management, professional selling and effective staff management • Manage the Gucci business on a day to day basis to increase sales and improve results through creative and effective use of all resources, including effective leadership and merchandise assortment

Key Accountabilities

Business Management

  • Managing the sales and operations functions for designated department/floor within the store to consistently achieve sales budget objectives
  • Strong grasp on KPI’s and ability to strategize when performance standards are not met
  • Manage and monitor action plans previously agreed upon with Retail Manager to develop sales department and client segment
  • Manage clear objectives to the team and monitor productivity, cross selling, and client development within floors
  • Plan and manage company and local events and product launches ensuring client attendance and sales results are met
     

Client Management

  • Ensure the achievement of business objectives while developing a top client strategy for the floors
  • Ensure the management and development of company CRM initiatives
  • Planning and management for store animation and VIG recruit and retain program
  • Manage client data to increase and retain client loyalty

Staff Management

  • Hire, evaluate, train, position and discipline the staff in a manner consistent with Gucci policies to reflect business strategy and meet sales goals
  • Motivate staff to achieve sales goals
  • Encourage and support the individual development of staff and communicate to Retail Manager staff suggestions and needs; encourage exchange of ideas
  • Promote and maintain harmonious staff relations
  • Develop a standard training program for all new employees and implement a yearly training program for all existing employees
  • Determine the needs for coverage and define scheduling
  • Conduct monthly coaching/counseling sessions with Department Managers to review performance and provide timely feedback

Communication and Reporting

  • Inform Retail Director of decisions and procedures relating to business and Human resource issues made at the store level
  • Obtain approval prior to implementation of new programs or procedures
  • Provide clear and informative business and clienteling review

Key Requirements

  • Familiar to Korean fashion or retail industry
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
