Under the creative direction of Sarah Burton, the house produces critically acclaimed collections, driven by unparalleled vision and respect for craftsmanship. Burton was made Head of Design for womenswear in 2000 and was appointed Creative Director in 2010. The luxury brand was founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. Among the greatest fashion designers of his time, the legacy of his work lives on.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a newly created Media and Performance team based in our London Head office. This role will be reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and will be responsible for leading and overseeing everything linked to our global media. Leading the transformation of the media discipline and maximising growth across all markets. Understanding and increasing consumer engagement across all channels throughout their journey within the Alexander McQueen world.  

How you will contribute:

  • Developing and monitoring the 360 media strategy

  • Full ownership of the global media budget

  • High level analysis of the data to maximize all aspects of the media funnel to plan and ensure optimal results.

  • Driving Best Practice by defining, integrating, and monitoring initiatives across different markets, again considering the full marketing funnel. 

  • Elevating the knowledge and capabilities of the team and wider business to maximise desired impact of the media strategy 

  • Collaborating with the wider Communication team, including social media, CRM activities and key stakeholders within the business

  • Analyse ROI and drive return on investments on Wholesale and Pure Players business

  • Drive the Media buying processes and look for ways to make improvements whilst always considering the ROI

  • Developing and leading a team of 4 to optimise results and engagement

Who you are:

  • Excellent project management skills with proven experience of leading, planning, and supervising multiple media teams and outlets

  • Ability to leverage existing and new partnerships within the media industry

  • Results orientated with a proven track record of delivering results against KPI’s

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Strong performance marketing, reporting and analysis skills

  • Proven track record of improving cost, quality and production cycle in a similar environment

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish new relationships with key stakeholders

  • Previous experience in fashion and luxury retail highly desirable
