The Silk Accessories Merchandiser together with the Senior Merchandiser will play a key role in supporting our merchandising strategy.
Silk Accessories category includes: Mens and Womens Scarves, Hats, Socks, Gloves and Umbrellas, Mens Ties and Mens Beachwear.
How you will contribute
Set up with Senior Merchandiser the growth strategy on category and implement strategy through strong partnership with Mens and Womens design team
Set up and send out weekly trade reports on category
Complete the sell in analysis, actively perform sell out analysis for monthly performance and analysis on “Always in Stock” and “permanent package” to help the Senior merchandiser defining product cycle life and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Managing competitor analysis for the category, by interpreting market needs, trends and identify opportunities to enhance the collection.
Suggesting in-season actions to maximize sale s and profit opportunities, including VM proposal.
Manage training materials that are fit for purpose and suitable for use by our Wholesale, Buying and Retail teams - transmitting depth of product knowledge acquired throughout the development process.
Supporting with the selling campaign, on editing preparation, catalogue management and organization of sample set before and after campaign launch while supporting during selling campaigns to prepare collections brief by setting up the samples display and scarves looks.
Build selling documents and follow up of the collection plan.
Work on sales comment documents.
Establishes and maintains relationships with retail buying team by working closely with Merchandising's role as a strategic support
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Communications, PR, Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Visual Merchandising
Your skills and experience
Previous experience in Silk Accessories merchandising or retail merchandising.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and keen on learning additional systems
Extensive analytical and numeracy skills.
Flexibility to travel with short notice and to work a demanding schedule which can include on an ad-hoc basis.
Has a passion for luxury industry, with a good sense of product and details and strong understanding of mentioned categories markets
Fluent in English / Italian optional
