We are currently looking for a talented Visual Identity Coordinator to join Alexander McQueen’s Communications team at our head office in London
Reporting to the CMO, one of the key aspects of the position is working closely with the CMO to interpret the vision of The House and translate this into a clear executable strategy. The role itself is all-encompassing that requires autonomy, a critical eye, creativity and problem solving.
Use themes and icons from each collection to develop design language, props and sets for production of global windows across DOS, wholesale, franchise, and seasonal pop ups
Manage external design agencies to develop creative proposals
Working in tandem with Store Planning on the design of temporary to long term shop in shops
You will be responsible for the creation of client experiences worldwide events such as lunches, dinners, trunk shows, brand partnerships and VIC gifting
Effectively interpreting creative briefs to design special seasonal packaging
Partnering with the graphic designer on global roll out of seasonal light box
Partnering with PR team, Head of VM, CRM team on the execution of Press Days and off-site brand exercises
Working with Head of VM to plan and install showroom each season
Your skills and experience:
Excellent creative eye and artistic approach to visual identity
Demonstrable experience designing and delivering creative concepts within a Luxury House
Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
Confident in presenting creative ideas accurately reflecting Creative Direction of the House
Strong researching skills and ability to push boundaries with proposals
Excellent command of Photoshop/InDesign
Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive approach to project management, anticipating events as required.
