We are currently seeking a Retail Manager for our region DACH as part of our dynamic team in Munich.
ROLE MISSION
Ensure business performance and respect of Company and Group image, monitoring and developing people in his/her Area.
KEY ACCOUNABILITIES
BUSINESS
- Identify and maximize the business of his/her Area and achieve the Area Sales targets
- Ensure an excellent customer service in alignment with Company standards
- Maximize sales by department / category in line with the company strategy
- Achieve financial results
- Fluent knowledge of financial KPIs and P&L
- Strengthen people skills to interact with business partners and other stakeholders
- Maintain the relationship with business partners
- Implement Retail Excellence in order to build an impeccable Customer Experience both in store and via e-commerce
- Identify and maximize sales by department / category in line with the company strategy
- Define with the General Manager Northern Europe sales plans and set clear goals for the store team, managing budgets and being responsible for the people strategy supported by the HR Manager
- Be aware of competitors activity, conduct Mystery Visits on competitors, develop effective networking across the perimeter followed
LEADERSHIP & STAFF
- Build, maintain and Follow Up Action Plans done by Store Managers
- Build Store Manager’s competencies, empower them by delegating challenges and providing them with exposure to the network
- Motivate, retain and evaluate Staff through the support of the Store Managers
- Ensure Team working, motivate employees to share information and knowledge, while encouraging them to collaborate on a daily basis
- Identify Staff needed to maximize the sales, challenging the Store Managers
- Define, propose, identify correct staffing for the Stores
- Uphold respect of Bottega Veneta’s standards and procedures (visual, merchandising, maintenance, grooming, stock, etc.) and ensure operation excellence
CUSTOMERS
- Ensure an excellent customer service in alignment with Company standards
- Ensure an efficient use of the Customer Relationship Management, select and approve the appropriate actions based on effective clienteling action plan
- Uphold respect of Bottega Veneta’s standards and procedures (visual, merchandising, maintenance, grooming, stock, etc.) and ensure operation excellence
- Ensure stock organization, accuracy and availability within the perimeter managed
- Coach Store Managers on how to develop excellent customer service
QUALIFICATIONS
A highly talented and creatively sales driven individual with a successful performance record and a demonstrated ability to build on a platform where there is a strong DNA. Personal style including a high level of energy, creativity, intellectual integrity, openness, assertiveness, and resiliency is essential.
- Ability to quickly establish strong credibility with team members and external resources
- Ability to lead and develop an important retail business including multichannel store
- A performance orientation and strategic mindset

- The ability, drive and desire to deliver outstanding results

- Impeccable standards of moral and ethical conduct
- Confidence in holding meetings and excellent public speaking skills
- Excellent management and organizational skills, ability to adapt
- Proven experience of 7 - 10 years, preferably in Luxury Retail business
- Strong analytical – numerical sensitivity
- Fluent in German and English, other languages will be considered a plus
- Coaching skills to train and motivate Regional Retail Teams
- Clear orientation to service and hospitality
- Passionate by his/her job and the world of luxury
- Impeccable presentation in line with brand DNA
