Role Mission
The candidate, passionate and hardworking with strong financial, reporting directly to the Head of Finance Western & Southern Europe will be responsible of financial controlling/reporting activities of Gucci Turkey and Greece entities. He/she will work closely with the EMEA Corporate teams (Retail operations, HR, Marcomm, Facility, Security) and the Kering Financial Shared Service Centre team based in Switzerland as well as the consultants in charge of the Greek and Turkish compliance (Tax, Accounting and legal). The work location could be Milano or Firenze.
Key Accountabilities
Preparation and submission of the Month End Financial Reporting Package (P&L, BS, Capex, Store P&L) to the Regional Finance Team
Review cashflow and provide support in the balance sheet review and related variance analysis for the Regional Finance Team
Capex control
Preparation and submission of the Budget and Forecast Package (P&L, BS, Capex, Store P&L) to the Regional Finance Team
Collect relevant information from other departments to submit Budget and Forecasts and provide specific analysis and explanations of most important variances versus the comparable scenarios
Prepare and communicate the monthly reporting (Turkey and Greece P&L, Store P&L, Cost Centre and Cost line reports) and related variance analysis to Store Managers and Heads of Function (Retail & Operations, HR, Marcomm, Facilities, Security)
Schedule periodic meetings with Heads of functions to go over financial results and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure costs control across the company.
Support the business on special projects (e.g. new store openings, store relocation) supervising and coordinating with relevant internal functions (legal, retail operations) as well as with local consultants to ensure optimal trade-off between compliance requirements and business needs
Work closely with both Kering Financial Shared Service Centre and local consultants and supervise the quality of the rendered service mainly related to: Statutory Accounts filing, Tax compliance (VAT & CIT returns), General Accounting, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Treasury
Monitor constantly the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances and ensure the correct allocations and follow up of the accounting
Be a key interlocutor during the semestral and annual external reporting audit process and support both Kering Financial Shared Service Centre and local consultants in the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
Cooperate with both Kering Financial Shared Service and local consultants to ensure that financial processes are well implemented and provide support for action plans if needed
Support both Head of Finance and legal department during the legal review of lease contracts and monitor the deadlines of lease agreements
Deal with ad hoc queries on finance related matters and develop ad-hoc analysis for the business
Key Requirements
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
5+ years in a Financial Controlling position with experience in management of consultants in charge of the local compliance (Tax/Accounting/Legal) for the Turkish market and/or 5+ years as Financial Auditor
Advanced technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of SAP are considered a plus for this role
Knowledge of Hyperion Oracle is a plus
Fluency in English
Experience in the retail industry is a plus
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to details and high degree of accuracy are a must
Ability to research, analyse and evaluate complex data and prepare concise written reports and presentations
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet tight deadlines in a fast-growing environment
Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and counterparts across the region
Aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods

Self-motivated to learn new technology and participate in new projects
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures (IFRS)
