Where and when could you start the internship with us?
Starting from November 21st 2022, we will offer an internship opportunity in Merchandising Team.
Here the internship roles we are looking for within the EMEA Merchandising Department:
Licenses Intern
Key Accountabilities
- Offline and online distribution analysis of the eyewear category in the main retailers / wholesale, with a focus on best practices for the products of a luxury brand (i.e. Dior, Chanel, Luis Vuitton, Tom Ford etc)
- Analysis of the eyewear collections concept of the main competitors;
- Studying of display and in store organization improvement elements, in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising team;
- Support in monitoring the collection, in particular best sellers and slow movers, in the direct retail channel;
- Support in the preparation of weekly reports (weekly sales performance);
- Support in the necessary analyses in preparation of the master order at the beginning of the sales campaign;
- Operational support to the team in all the necessary activities before / during / after the sales campaigns in the showroom
What will you learn with us?
- Overview of how a business unit ("licensing") works within a fashion / luxury company;
- Knowing the architectural construction criteria of an eyewear collection in a fashion / luxury company, from creative conception to distribution both in direct and wholesale channels;
- Understanding of the rules of management of an omnichanel business for the eyewear category in a retail oriented company, both for physical and online distribution.
LGG Retail Merchandising
Key Accountabilities
- Launch reports and control data to analyze the business
- Monitor Best Seller and Slow movers items and coverage
- Support the team in elaborating weekly comments on sales performance
- Collaborate in collecting data to place bulk order before each sales campaign
- Supporting the team in all the necessary activities before/during and after the Sales Campaign
- Support the team in monitoring new TRAVEL category & launch in store

MRTW Retail Merchandising
Key Accountabilities
- Launch reports and control data to analyze the business
- Recap and review actual sales performance weekly/monthly
- Monitor Best Seller and Slow movers items and coverage
- Supporting the team in all the necessary activities before/during and after the Sales Campaign
- Supporting the team on scheduled analysis/ activities

WRTW Retail Merchandising
Key Accountabilities
- Weekly and monthly analysis in order to identify trends, slow mover and best seller
- Analysis setting related to ad hoc regional, pre and post sales campaign
- Collaborate in collecting data to place bulk order before each sales campaign
- Buying recap activities
- Operational support to the team in all the necessary activities before / during / after the sales campaigns in the showroom

What are the basics?
- Going into your last year of university and planning a gap semester to take an internship or recent graduation (past year) with successful studies in Economics, Fashion Management or related
- Previous extra-curricular or educational experience abroad
- Fluency in Italian and English; French or Chinese will be considered as a plus
- Involvement in curricular university activities and volunteering activities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player attitude and ability to faced with some different interlocutors, in a really fast paced enviroment
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
