Your opportunity
The Control Tower Manager will directly report to the Business Planning Director, and will work close to Central Operations, Transport department, Regional Logistics Hubs, Brand Supply Chain and Retail Operations. The aim is to ensure the live monitoring of the full distribution chain, allowing the quick recognition of potential issues and triggering continuous improvement initiatives of the global end-to-end performance to maximize the satisfaction of our brands.
How you will contribute
- Negotiate with Brands together with internal stakeholders in order to set SLA and target end-to-end lead time from shipment planning to delivery completion
- Ensure the accuracy of the delivery promising process by feeding the menu of service always updated lead times
- Design the processes, workflow and standard operating procedures by which Control Tower will be organized
- Identify the proper organization and systems to cover the Control Tower processes
- Guide the supervision of the full end-to-end execution process, coordinating all the different stakeholders involved (central ops, transport, regional warehouses and last mile distribution) making sure the expected service level by the Brand is met
- Define synthetic KPI dashboard to monitor the global end-to-end performance and focus on exception management
- Support and coordinate the on-time delivery of first installation for Brands new events / special collections
- Support the identification of root-causes causing end-to-end delivery blocks and collaborate with the internal stakeholders in order to solve them quickly
- Continuously communicate to the Brands leveraging on a proactive and anticipating approach
- Consolidate post-delivery performance and guide performance review with the Brands
Who you are
- Master’s degree in economics or Engineering background
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within multinational and multibrand companies
- Fluent knowledge of Italian and English; French knowledge would be a plus
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Package (Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Knowledge of data analytics tool (Board, PowerBI)
- Knowledge about SAP and AS400
