As Global Logistics Methods and Performance Improvement Manager you will manage a team and will have the opportunity to support the Supply Chain Methods and Innovation Director in identifying, structuring and managing strategic initiatives focused on business opportunities, process and systems reengineering, operational efficiency and innovation within the Logistics and Distribution fields with a specific focus on warehousing.
You will manage definition and continuous update of Worldwide Logistics Operating Model in synergy with Group Operations strategic initiatives, leveraging and exploiting best practices and aiming for harmonization and rationalization of processes across geographies.
You will also secure coherence of end-to-end logistic processes creating and maintaining favorable and efficient connections between central and regional logistics and across different service providers both for running activities and while implementing model changes/upgrades.
How you will contribute
You will work on 3 key areas:
Manage design of logistics processes and operations always ensuring the end-to-end coherence of execution, securing that each actor involved has the right conditions/information/system to accomplish his tasks and has ownership on what he needs to provide for the subsequent ones
Design allocation of activities in the end-to-end execution through fact-based analysis on efficiency, effectiveness, cost and end-to-end process coherence, addressing both brands and logistics needs
Ensure mapping and continuous update of key logistic processes through shared documentation, in collaboration with certification programs
Collect and harmonize business needs for processes/systems re-engineering or performance improvement from Brands, HQ team, regional logistics or Kering Group
Support definition and continuous update of the Kering Logistics core model
Promote exchange of experience across regions and between regions and HQ on implemented logistics flows, operational improvements, performance monitoring and project methodology
Ensure periodic alignment on experiences/needs with key stakeholders within Brands, Group Operations, and logistics partners on WW scale in order to create a shared and common framework as base for Target Operating Model
Review key performance indicators for central and regional logistics on strategic processes both for process execution and observed process results
Promote regular assessment on running processes in order to verify adherence with implementation hypothesis, opportunities for improvement and standardization of variances
Structure improvement initiatives on processes already active, identify bottlenecks and root causes to support reach of business goals and performance targets
Logistics Project management
Gather all strategic projects initiatives active under Group Operations and ensure their adherence to target operating models both for planning and objectives
Lead strategic projects design, planning and execution in a multi-brand complex environment (monitoring, communication, change management…)
Define and monitor projects budget and expenses with related impact on overall Budget and Forecast figures
Define projects with impacts on IT systems and ensure clear and complete communication of requirements, efficiently communicating business priorities
Maintain constant alignment on IT developments progress with related update of project plans and provided feedback to business
Structure RFID implementation at group level, coordinating and guiding brand implementation
Develop the group expertise in WMS
Scout, study and implement supply chain and logistic innovation solution, including warehouse automation
Who you are
You are graduated in Management Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain and logistics related field
A professional with at least 10 years of work experience in process analysis, project management and reengineering in Logistics or Supply Chain within a global consultancy or a multinational company, in Fashion and Luxury industry strongly preferred
Expert in MS Office package (Excel, Power Point, Word). SQL and BI tools knowledge would be a plus
You have strong project management and analytical skills
An excellent team manager, with teamworking attitude
You have trusted leadership skills
Able to prioritize and follow up on various projects
Cooperative, with a positive attitude and excellent communication and listening capabilities, used to work and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Result oriented, flexible, adaptable and self-motivated
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Italian and French as a plus
Available to travel (about 20%)
