Role Mission

The Partner Marketing Senior Director is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and overseeing the implementation of all marketing related initiatives to support partners, inclusive of both wholesale and leased channels. The role is to lead the partner marketing team and all corresponding marketing channels including local media (print and digital), coop marketing, special events and client facing initiatives. In addition, the role is responsible for developing the local brand engagement strategy for the timepieces and jewelry categories. All strategy and initiatives to be planned in alignment with and in collaboration with the corresponding brand engagement and client teams.

Timepieces & Jewelry:  The Americas - US, Canada, Latin America and Caribbean

Key Accountabilities

  • Define cross-functional brand engagement strategy and oversee development of marketing plans for wholesale and leased channels, timepieces and jewelry;
  • Liaise with regional and worldwide brand engagement teams and client engagement teams to appropriately integrate partner marketing initiatives and watches & jewelry marketing initiatives into overall regional and global strategy to ensure brand consistency;
  • Partner closely with GAI Partnership Team, GAI Merchandising, Watches & Jewelry Team, Coty and Kering Eyewear to develop thematic marketing calendar and support key priorities, launches and special initiatives through tailored marketing plans to support wholesale and leased channels;
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement integrated marketing plans that support brand objectives with focus on digital, traditional media and client facing activities; 
  • Collaborate with advertising team on defining national media strategy for timepieces and jewelry integrating into greater brand strategy and initiatives;
  • Partner with PR team on creating effective PR strategy for timepieces and jewelry maximizing editorial coverage and aligning with greater brand strategy and initiatives;
  • Lead the development of special event strategy for timepieces and jewelry in partnership with special events team including image, retail driven and trade events;
  • Create and monitor KPI of marketing programs to drive increased effectiveness and best practices;
  • Define and manage yearly budgets in coordination with GAI wholesale and Watches and Jewelry;
  • Lead, train and develop wholesale marketing team.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a marketing related position;
  • Experience leading marketing team and interacting with executive level of organization;
  • Experience working for or with a retailer or wholesaler;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint: Outlook; Adobe Acrobat;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship--building skills;
  • Appreciation and understanding of the luxury fashion industry;
  • Strong written and verbal skills;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Positive and focused professional team player;
  • Domestic and international travel as needed.
