Role Mission
The Store Planning Finance and Administration Cost Control Coordinator will support the Senior Cost Controller with the finance and administrative responsibilities of all on-going store planning and construction related costs.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with the Senior Cost Controller for all Store Planning related work, including budgeting for all new store openings, renovations, and capex projects;
- Collect proposals and quotes from the Store Planning Project Managers and department coordinator for all capex projects;
- Update proposals and invoices in the project cost plan on a weekly basis;
- Work with the team to ensure that change orders logs are periodically updated in the cost plans, making sure the correct process is followed for change order approval;
- Identify on a timely basis, any potential overages based on the cost plans analysis;
- Partner with Finance to align on actuals;
- Work directly with Accounts Payable and Finance in auditing open invoices;
- Follow up with vendors on payment inquires;
- Coordinate all documents related to the tenant allowance packages on a biweekly basis;
- Special projects and analysis as needed.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- 1+ years working experience;
- Store planning/store construction related experience preferred;
- Eager to learn, dedicated, diligent, highly organized, and reliable;
- Excel and power point skills are a must;
- Knowledge of SAP preferred;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Able to work cross functionally in a collaborative environment;
- Must be detail oriented and be able to work with a sense of urgency.
