We are currently seeking a Cashier who will report to the Store Manager as part of our team at Bicester Village.
You will contribute to increase store turnover by participating in the store’s merchandise flow management, as well as strictly follow all internal procedures in terms of logistics.
Your opportunity
You will be responsible for providing effective and accurate cash desk management and administration service to support store management and the wider team.
How you will contribute
Managing emails and telephone enquiries by making sure they are resolved accurately and effectively. Delegating relevant queries to management or sales team where necessary.
Processing the transactions, cash desk management and cash handling; setting up the tills for the day before the store opening, clearing the packaging area, ensure smooth and efficient daily operation of the cash desk management and the store.
Perform in store inspections and handle customer feedback or complaints regarding aftersales and to direct it to the aftersales ambassador to process the cases.
Provide store training and new starter inductions in terms of POS usage and opening / closing procedures.
Create and monitor a tracker for store complaints and ensure satisfactory resolution within 48 hours.
Ensure that the appointments bookings tracker is efficient and kept up to date.
General administration include stationary orders, organisation of the fiscal reports and a staff purchase lists.
Regular audit of existing cash management policies and procedures make recommendations to management team to enhance store performance.
Who you are
Proven experience in a similar role within a faced paced fashion retail environment
Demonstrated high level numeracy and literacy and IT skills
High flexibility and ability to adapt to different customers
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Strong time management skills and able to work to deadlines
Excellent knowledge of store procedures and company policies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent team player and self-starter
Deep passion for fashion and luxury
Excellent commercial awareness and customers attitude
You will be required to work during weekends and support the sales team during peak trade
