Ranking
Kering is regularly awarded and endorsed by financial and extra-financial rating agencies and NGOs in recognition of the Group's sustainability strategy.
Kering reached second place in the Corporate Knights 2019 Global 100 ranking of the 100 most sustainable companies. Kering is also the only luxury corporation to be included and ranks first within the index’s "Textile, Apparel & Luxury Goods" sector.
Kering was listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World and Europe for the eighth consecutive year, recognized as one of the "industry leaders" within the "Textile, Apparel & Luxury Goods" sector.
The DJSI tracks the best-in-class sustainability performers among the 2,500 largest companies listed in the S&P Global Broad Market Index. Each year, applicant companies are rated against an industry-specific questionnaire. Assessed against these predefined criteria, only the top 10% leading performers in terms of sustainability are listed in the DJSI.
With an A score in recognition of its ambitious management of climate risks, Kering is the only Luxury group to be included in this list for the 2nd year in a row.
Kering is recognized for its efforts and actions among a small number of high-performing companies out of thousands that were scored. The Group’s determination to cut emissions, mitigate climate risks and help develop a low-carbon economy have been highlighted.
