YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Our Finance team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, dynamic, passionate, curious and collaborative finance professional to join our team.
As the Financial Controller ME you will work with the Finance Manager and under their supervision you will support and manage a range of finance activities including but not limited to: accounting, controlling and reporting, as well as involvement in the projects of Group.
YOUR MISSIONS:
· Accounting
o Supervision of the accounting requirements under forecast/budget
o Preparation of the required monthly accruals under forecast/budget and fiscal considerations, including tax accruals
o Supervision of compliance against statutory tax and IFRS reporting requirements
· Controlling and Reporting
o Preparation of the monthly closing requirements
o Supervision of intercompany reconciliations with all partners
o Management of reporting packages requested by consolidation department
o Cost analysis and monthly cost control
o Budget and forecast preparation
o Analysis of deviations during closings and forecast/budget preparations
o Cost analysis and relevant arrangements, scenario preparation
· Year End Closing and Taxes
o Review of financial statements
o Support for tax consultants in the preparation of quarterly and yearly income tax declaration / corporate tax declaration
o Monitor and facilitate quarterly and yearly income tax payments Project Management and other activities
o Contact person for audits – internal and external
o Preparation of ad hoc reports – intercompany, consolidation, legal
o All additional requirements and support for business partners (HR, Communication, Maintenance, Security, Logistics etc)
o Requirements for JV partners (Liaise and support on all daily financial/legal matters, Monthly reports, Budget/forecast reports, Preparation of BOD/AGM meetings and quarterly reviews, Renewal of licenses, Support in their statutory audits, etc. )
o Effective project management
o Maintenance and management of appropriate contracts, i.e. leases, services agreements, etc.
o Monitor and Review of leases on Tririga
o Update and reporting of insurance values of the different companies sites
o Support in the opening of bank accounts and maintaining banking relations
o Support Ad-hoc information queries from accounting & sales team
YOUR PROFILE:
· Previous experience as an accountant or controller in retail / luxury retail business with evidenced progression in roles/responsibilities
· Knowledge of IFRS Experience in reporting with Oracle - HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) will be an asset
· Prior experience supporting or leading integration activities, including process mapping and continuous improvement
· Prior experience and knowledge in SAP modules- BI/Controlling - Power BI or other BI tools will be an advantage
· Experience in budgeting and strategic planning will be highly regarded
· Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills
· Proactive and a self-starter
· Outstanding planning skills – keeping and maintaining the list of deadlines & projects
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Effective and positive team player with an agile, collaborative and inclusive approach
· Sound decision-making skills with a customer focus
· Microsoft Office proficiency, PowerPoint, Excel
· Fluent in English – verbal and written, Arab would be a plus
