Your opportunity Reporting to the Vice President, Southeast Asia & Oceania, the Retail Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the store’s business, people, and culture for Singapore & Malaysia markets. In this role, you act as a head coach, cheerleader, and entrepreneur. This position is responsible to lead the retail team to deliver sales results and efficient retail operations that aligns with the brand direction. At the same time to continuously motivate and coach the retail team to achieve company sales target and maintain high standard of customer service. To ensure an optimal and motivated work atmosphere.

How you will contribute

Leadership

  • Lead operations team to ensure that company standards are upheld in the below areas.

  • Lead store team to drive sales in line with company targets

  • Provide constant feedback and coaching to improve the team’s skills and sales results.

  • Collaborate with different teams to organize staff training / development programs for store staff to ensure store operation standards

  • Develop team member with leadership and other abilities for succession planning.

  • Set goals for each team member for the achievement of company KPIs

  • Control expense within budget.

Retail Excellence & Services

  • Create an environment focused on customer experience.

  • Ensure that each team member is knowledgeable about selling ceremonies, products and Balenciaga philosophy

  • Be inventive and create additional business opportunities by ensuring that team members focus on building their clientele

  • Work closely with mall management and CRM team to generate additional opportunities that showcase our brand vision. This may include client treatment plan for mall VICs and obtaining promotional opportunity

  • Ensure operation efficiency and effective implementation of business promotion initiatives and marketing programs at store level to enhance brand’s awareness

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years hands-on retail sales or store operation experience in which 7 years at managerial level

  • Prior exposure in luxury goods or premium fashion brands

  • Energetic and well-organized personality with strong leadership, people management, teambuilding, and communication skills

  • Good command of both spoken and written English

  • Good PC skills such as MS Office
