KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Specific responsibilities are:

  • In line with Bottega Veneta’s brand vision and mission, define an effective and sound communications strategy to elevate the brand image in Japan
  • Locally lead the development of the brand into the next chapter under Bottega Veneta’s creative director, Matthew Blazy
  • Oversee and ensure flawless planning and execution of all PR and Communication initiatives aligning brand messages cross platforms and diverse consumer touch points, maximizing press and editorial coverage and strengthening relationships with celebrities/influencers for brand endorsement
  • Oversee and execute all media plans and paid branding activities, mining new medium opportunities, and expanding to collaborations and sponsorships
  • Plan and implement press and image projects/events
  • Manage agency and partnership relations to maximize ROI on spend
  • Collaborate closely with Client Engagement, Retail, Store Planning and VM for in-store activities and client events
  • Support all functions on effective internal communications, developing/aligning engaging messages incl corporate values, cross departments
  • Optimize communications budgets, utilize metric-driven approach to performance evaluation
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships locally, globally and with inter-company peers   
  • Optimize the MarCom team (4pa) to ensure highest performance levels. Manage, coach and develop talent

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strategic and creative thinker able to develop effective communications programs
  • Track record in managing PR, Media and Events for luxury fashion brands or an equivalent experience/industry
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ experience in managing people
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Social/digital literacy a plus
