Your opportunity

This position is in the shared service team and responsible for accounting controlling function for Kering corporate and multiple retail brands in Japan markets.

How you will contribute

• Manage finance and accounting operations for the daily accounting.
• Make budget and landing forecast by analyzing business, producing appropriate ways based on the instruction developed by central of the group and communicating with managements and various counterparts both in shared service and other departments in the house including brands.
• Participate to the production of financial report including benchmark analysis and report it to headquarters and managements.
• Research technical accounting issues especially for newly implemented things and set up standardized procedures for the group.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting closing processes.
• Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support daily accounting duties and perform ad hoc assignments from time to time.
• Communicate with brands regarding the cost allocation from shared service function.

Who you are

• Specific knowledge and experience in General Ledger, not just in business planning.
• Extensive accounting experience is preferred, especially in GL and audit response.
• Effective Communication skill: Ability to engage confidently with both the Finance Accounting team and Brand Finance without hesitation.
• Proficiency in understanding current processes and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
• Self-starter and self-motivated
• Good communication and team player

• An analytical person with strong problem-solving skills

• Business level of English
• Familiar with IFRS, JPGAAP and tax regulations
• Working experience for Retail industry is a plus
• Familiar with JDE or AS400 is a plus
• Familiar with consolidation, reporting and budgeting systems (SAP, Hyperion HFM, Oracle PBCS, etc) is a plus
