By joining GUCCI Mexico team, the Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the logistics and operations processes of stores in Mexico to ensure business continuity by overseeing an efficient logistic and accurate inventory. This position represents the brand as a Gucci ambassador, promoting its values and culture with high adherence to the GUCCI policies and guidelines.
How you will contribute
Reporting to the Retail Area Manager and functionally to the Regional Operations Manager, this position will contribute to business goals by working together with all corporate areas to align strategies to ensure the correct product-to-store distribution, store openings, maintenances/renovations, temporary stores, store events, store closures, etc.
In conjunction with the back of house teams will manage activities that support the operational efficiency of stores. This position will be responsible to communicate and supervise operational policies and procedures are in accordingly implemented.
To ensure inventory accuracy at stores will be responsible to elaborate strategic plans to execute inventories, cycle counts, transfers, consolidations, exports, markdown, price updates, imports, and exports, etc. Execute audits and perform the necessary corrective/preventive actions.
Guarantee all stores have the necessary supplies to operate, in collaboration with the Tech department, assess all retail systems (JDA, XStore, LUCE, etc.) work properly to support day-to-day operations.
Control the strategic organization of stores staff. Validate and approve store schedules to ensure the presence of staff during peak hours, special events, high season etc.
Who you are?
A professional with proven experience in a similar role within retail industry, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and high-energy environment, detail oriented with team player mentality and excellent leadership and communication skills.
