Under the creative direction of Sarah Burton, the house produces critically acclaimed collections, driven by unparalleled vision and respect for craftsmanship. Burton was made Head of Design for womenswear in 2000 and was appointed Creative Director in 2010. The luxury brand was founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. Among the greatest fashion designers of his time, the legacy of his work lives on.

Your opportunity:


Responsible for leading the worldwide VM team, adopting a creative and commercial approach to communicate product offerings across the global estate.


How you will contribute:

  • Under the direction of the CMO, develop compelling visual concepts related to the Creative Vision of the House

  • Use colours, themes and icons from each collection to develop props and set for production

  • Responsible for the visual image budget

  • Research and develop visual image / themes required for events/launches

  • Responsible for developing proposals for pop-up shop identities

  • Develop creative concepts for temporary to long term seasonal shop displays

  • Effectively interpret creative briefs to design, develop and implement creative concepts, partnering with the Art Director to ensure seasonal / creative campaigns are consistent across all visual assets

  • Responsible for showroom set-up (from runway)

  • Responsible for rendering visual concepts and present to CMO for sign off

  • Develop the creative plan/ visual proposals for all worldwide events, trunk shows, and special projects, ensuring set up is aligned for events, working in close collaboration with Communication / marketing teams and the Head of Visual Merchandising

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent creative eye and artistic approach to visual identity

  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering creative concepts within a luxury House

  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • Confident in presenting creative ideas that accurately reflect the Creative Direction of the House

  • Strong researching skills and ability to push boundaries with proposals

  • Excellent command of Photoshop/InDesign

  • Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive approach to project management, anticipating events as required

  • Ability to prioritise effectively to ensure all deadlines and met

  • Demonstrates an agile approach to work  Able to travel (frequently)

  • Strong people management skills
