The Boucheron style, free and daring, never ceases to invent the classics of tomorrow.

    We are looking for a Store Director to manage our Vendôme Flagship boutique.

    As the ultimate ambassador of the Boucheron Maison, the Vendôme Boutique Director is entrusted with representing the brand’s image and values at the highest standards, both inside and outside the Company. Reporting to the Brand Director, he/she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of boutique image and performance, from driving sales and profitability to ensuring operational excellence and compliance. Through strategic business development and a strong focus on client engagement, the Boutique Director identifies growth opportunities and implements action plans to achieve ambitious goals. As a people leader, he/she inspires and empowers the team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and exceptional client service to deliver a truly personalized and luxurious experience. Beyond its commercial mission, the Vendôme boutique is also a prestigious “maison de famille” for hosting clients, prospects, and key partners—including media and business stakeholders—making the Boutique Director a central figure in orchestrating high-level interactions and cultivating meaningful relationships across internal and external networks.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leadership & Strategic Planning

    • Define and execute the boutique’s strategic and financial roadmap in collaboration with the Brand Director and headquarters, aligning commercial, operational, and long-term objectives with the Maison’s global vision. 
    • Develop and monitor short- and long-term plans and budgets, ensuring agility, performance, and sustainable growth. 
    • Ensure that all strategic initiatives are translated into actionable plans, and that the boutique team is aligned and engaged in their successful implementation.

    Business & Sales Development

    • Define and lead the boutique’s commercial action plan to maximize sales performance and achieve or exceed sales and KPI targets. Ensure its effective implementation, regular monitoring, and agile adaptation when needed.
    • Monitor and analyze boutique KPIs on a regular basis to identify performance drivers and areas for improvement, and proactively implement actions to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business, partnerships and opportunities to expand the audience and client base, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen the Maison’s presence in the local market.
    • Maintain a strong awareness of the local business environment, including market trends and competitive landscape, and proactively recommend actions to stay ahead.

    High Jewelry & Prestige Clientele

    • Define and execute strategic initiatives to support high-value transactions, with a focus on client acquisition, retention, and transformation in the Fine and High Jewelry segments.
    • Promote the boutique’s role as a key player in regional and global High Jewelry events, ensuring visibility, engagement, and business impact.
    • Represent the Maison with high-profile clients and partners, especially during key moments such as HJ launches, where the boutique serves as a flagship venue for exclusive activations.
    • Drive the boutique’s influence and visibility across Paris, proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with high-potential prospects, key opinion leaders, and luxury clientele through targeted outreach and networking initiatives.

    Team Management :

    • Responsible for leading, inspiring and developing the boutique management team, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and alignment with strategic priorities.
    • Empower managers to drive performance and lead their respective teams, while providing guidance, coaching, and regular feedback to support their growth.
    • Contributes to the definition of individual development plans, succession planning, and talent retention strategies in collaboration with HR.
    • Controls the delegation of operational responsibilities, ensuring that each manager is equipped and supported to deliver on their objectives.
    • Monitor and steer team performance through structured reviews and KPI tracking, setting clear collective and individual targets, and taking appropriate actions in collaboration with the management team to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment, promoting collaboration, recognition, and continuous improvement.
    • Participate in key recruitment processes alongside the HR team, identifying, attracting and integrating top talent to ensure business continuity and long-term success.

    Retail Excellence & Client Management :

    • Deliver an outstanding and elevated client experience within the boutique, ensuring every interaction reflects the Maison’s standards of excellence.
    • Lead by example on the floor, ensuring the consistent application of Boucheron’s retail excellence guidelines (selling ceremony, grooming, gifting, visual merchandising, etc.) and fostering a culture of service excellence.
    • Ensure the permanent presence of a manager on the floor, coordinating with Deputy Managers to maintain seamless leadership coverage and responsiveness to client needs.
    • Engage in proactive CRM, developing strategic clienteling plans and supporting the team in driving acquisition, retention, and loyalty—balancing both qualitative relationships and quantitative performance.
    • Drive the implementation and performance tracking of client relationship initiatives, ensuring measurable return on investment and continuous optimization.
    • Handle complex or sensitive client situations with discretion and care, while continuously challenging and improving existing processes to enhance client satisfaction.
    • Act as a true Ambassador of the Maison, cultivating direct relationships with VICs and key stakeholders to reinforce Boucheron’s prestige and influence

    Hospitality & Ambassadorship:

    • Ensure that every touchpoint—whether in the boutique or at 26V—delivers a singular, elevated experience that reflects the Maison’s identity and standards.
    • Manage and guide the Hospitality Director and his/her team (hospitality manager and sales assistants), ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and fostering a culture of excellence and care.
    • Act as a true ambassador of the Maison, representing the boutique internally—by welcoming key internal stakeholders and embodying the voice of retail within the company—and externally, by engaging with partners, real estate stakeholders, and VIP guests to uphold and promote Boucheron’s prestige and influence
    • Oversee the governance and strategic use of the 26V apartment, validating event formats, ensuring operational readiness, and coordinating with EMEA and international teams.
    • Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of all boutique and apartment spaces, ensuring an impeccable, secure, and luxurious environment for both clients and staff, while coordinating seamlessly with Store Planning and approved vendors.
    • Monitor and validate the execution of hospitality-related projects, from client stays to internal events, ensuring alignment with budget, brand image, and expected ROI.
    • Champion continuous improvement by collecting feedback, identifying opportunities, and sharing learnings across the network.

    Operations & Compliance:

    • Ensure full compliance with the Maison’s and Group’s policies, procedures, and operational guidelines, acting as the guarantor of standards across all boutique activities.
    • Oversee the boutique’s operational excellence, by managing and guiding the Deputy Director Store Operations to ensure seamless coordination between front and back office (stock, after-sales service, administration).
    • Provide strategic support and leadership in the rollout of pilot projects, ensuring successful implementation, feedback collection, and best practice sharing across the network.
    • Supervise the execution of all visual and brand directives, including boutique cleanliness, merchandising standards, and team grooming, to maintain an impeccable and coherent brand image.
    • Support the implementation of operational tools and processes, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency across all touchpoints while ensuring alignment with the Maison’s evolving standards.

                 

    PROFILE

    • Strong commercial drive and results oriented mindset to leverage business opportunities.
    • Min of 18 years of experience with extended experience in retail luxury environment and dealing with high-end transactions.
    • Experienced leader with a minimum of 8 to 10 years in a store / team management position (depending on the business size)
    • Experience in managing a flagship or high-profile boutique is a strong asset.
    • Passionate about clients and client satisfaction
    • Dynamic, agile and flexible to adapt to a fast-paced growing company.
    • Entrepreneurship mentality
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, dedicated to support and develop your team.
    • Strong sense of diplomacy and representation, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders—including clients, partners, media, and corporate teams.
    • Naturally embodies the role of a brand ambassador, with a refined presence and the ability to represent the Maison in high-level interactions and prestigious events.
    • Jewelry knowledge is an asset but is not required.
