We are currently seeking a MRTW Product Engineer Specialist (Maternity Cover) who will report to the Ready To Wear Engineering & Industrialization Department as part of our dynamic team in Novara.
Your opportunity
You will contribute to the development of Men RTW collections of the brand. You will support the RTW Engineering Team in industrialization of special collections and VIP and press garments and will collaborate closely with other departments such as Product development, Purchasing and Pattern Making.
How you will contribute
- Evaluate and manage, in the development phase of the sample collection, the technical peculiarities of the collection in order to anticipate any production problems
- Launch of sample production, ensuring the availability of raw materials and components like accessories, packaging etc.
- Monitor each individual supplier in order to ensure compliance with delivery times in line with development priorities
- Follow the progress of the production and coordinate the flow of information between the various departments involved
- Intervene in case of complex problems, interfacing with the product managers in the resolution of the same
- Follow the production testing fittings
- Manage the master data in Stealth and PLM
Who you are
- High-school or university graduate in the field of fashion
- An individual with previous experience in a similar role, preferably working in engineering department or product development
- Organized and able to plan efficiently
- Willing to travel occasionally
- Knowledge of PLM would be considered as an advantage
