Gucci launched its first online concession partnership in 2013 and has since expanded its partners and reach. Role Mission The Global Digital Concession Partnerships Manager will drive the strategy and growth of our online concession business around the world. He/She will be an integral part of the Global Digital team and drive profitable sales growth across existing partnerships, identify new business/service opportunities that are a win-win for both partners and ensure that the brand is managed consistently across the online touchpoints to the highest quality befitting a luxury brand. As an account manager, this role will manage the ongoing relationship with each partner for the concession business and also work in close collaboration with internal linkage groups that have direct relationship with these partners such as Regional Ecommerce, Digital Merchandising, Marketing & Communications and Travel & Indirect Channels. This role will bring a strategic view to ensure that this business amplifies the value of the Gucci brand in digital channels. This role will also work closely with the Global Digital Products and Development teams, Content and Finance in onboarding partners and managing the operational aspects of the business – from asset planning to customer delivery experience to financial planning.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the business plan for Global Concession Partnerships that includes identifying prospective retail partners, developing sales plans, and identifying joint initiatives to grow existing businesses.
  • Analyze the concessions business in the context of and multi-brand etailer business.  Bring up insights that can help to drive the overall Gucci digital business.
  • Manage the communication with the Partners on a regular basis to understand their needs in order to provide effective solutions andexpand market intelligence within the online Concessions Business.
  • Understand the Concession Service model that has been developed and convey the value to prospective partners. In turn, act as an SME to the Digital Product Development team to improve and develop new services.   
  • Provide consistent insights on the state of the business to the WW Digital Merchandising Team to inform short-term actions and long-term planning. Review product assortments and explore new possibility for growth.
  • Monitor product presentation on the partner site to ensure consistent brand representation.  
  • Manage of the relationships with different digital departments at worldwide and within the regions to service this business. Share learnings across the regions.  
  • Partner with the Regional department in order to guarantee transparency and operating flows efficiency within the Concession Partnerships management.

Job Requirements

  • Successful studies in business management. Strong business acumen.
  • At least 4 years of wholesale and/or indirect channel experience, managing the relationship with external Partners, both offline and online. Digital experience is a plus.
  • Experience with a wide range of sales channels and thorough knowledge of retailer business operations
  • Analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude
  • Ability to use financial data to influence revenue growth
  • Experience utilizing strategic planning, financial/budget management and business planning to meet revenue goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding listener. Able to translate technical needs and to solve the issues.
  • Outstanding communicator. Proven ability to communicate with our Concession Partners and with internal involved Departments.
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and be open-minded.
  • Genuine passion for Luxury and Fashion world, Commitment to the Gucci brand.
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and be open-minded.
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office (particularly excel and power point)
