Role mission The Store Trainer will be responsible for effectively delivering and executing all training projects in their area of responsibility. This role will coach and facilitate in-store, one-to-one, and classroom Business Training (Face2Face and virtual). The Store Trainer will be accountable for influencing business results through effective delivery of training, onboarding, and coaching.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

The Store Trainer will manage the training activities for their specifically assigned scope of work.

The primary training activities will include:


  • Deliver/Facilitate One-to-one, classroom, meeting, in store training
  • Ability to adapt style and methodology to meet the audiences needs
  • Create a positive learning environment/culture


  • Be the “Training Expert ” and partner for the Store Manager and the Retail Area Manager
  • Provide effective recommendations and solutions to meet Business Training needs


  • Monitor the Training KPIs according to the global frame work (NPS, Retention, Behaviours, ROTI)
  • Monitor & Analyse Business KPIs in order to identify learning solutions to impact sales


  • Strong ability to identify and leverage coaching moments to change behaviors and improve performance
  • Ability to adjust style and approach to coach at any level

SELLING EXPERTISE (experience in a selling environment)

  • Confident and experienced at selling
  • Strong ability to “read” customers and uncover needs
  • Ability to transfer selling skills and techniques
  • Experienced in product storytelling


  • Strong desire to learn and to self-develop
  • Quick to absorb and apply new information
  • Stays informed on learning and training trends


  • Product expert
  • Passion for brands and storytelling
  • Aware of fashion industry trends


  • Manage the relationships between the business owners and the Training team
  • Work with the business owners to assess training needs and to define training priorities


  • Be the voice of the Retail Academy
  • Develop and execute communication strategies tied to the Business Training projects
  • Be a Change Management leader for all Business Training processes and Retail evolution
  • Ensure training content and delivery is meeting communicated expectations


  • Min. 5 yrs experience in the Retail Industry (ideally within Retail shop floor management)
  • Currently operating at Manager level or above
  • Previous experience in training departments and/or roles where training and developing others was part of the role mission
  • Project Management experience
  • Influencing skills
  • Familiar working with the store environment
  • Strong Retail Business Orientation
  • Knowledge of adult learning techniques
  • Proven experience of presentation and people development
  • Experience in Digital Learning
  • Good analytics approach
  • International experience and Strong cultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is appreciated.
  • Well spoken, agile approach, can do attitude and high teamwork skills

Please note that some travel will be required in undertaking this role
