GUCCI IT Supply Chain & Distribution Manager

Role Mission The Supply Chain & Distribution Manager is the knowledge leader of the strategic aspects of his/her area of responsibility from a business/technology perspective, ensures that the strategic goals of the area are constantly in line with the business needs and expectations and is accountable for ensuring that those goals are achieved.

Overall responsibilities

  • Translate Vision, Mission and Goals defined by MIS Industrial Solutions Director into a proper set of goals and initiatives for his/her area of responsibility
  • Review and improve the Service Portfolio Roadmap of his/her area of responsibility in order to ensure that the maximum value to the business and users is provided.
  • Negotiate Service Levels with the business and ensure that they are achieved during the delivery of the services
  • Establish the budget and the resources required to properly develop, deliver and support services in line with the established Service Portfolio Roadmap and agreed SLAs
  • Maintain a strategic alignment with Kering IT to ensure that projects and services that require the collaboration of Gucci MIS and Kering IT, are properly managed and delivered
  • Manage the strategic relationship with suppliers of IT services in order to ensure that quality target of services and projects are achieved
  • Provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to his team ensuring that roles and responsibilities are properly assigned and understood
  • Monitor results to be achieved motivating the team to "use their knowledge and skills" to achieve those results
  • Propose improvement to established best practices in order to ensure that the optimal approach for the delivey of IT services and projects is in place

Requirements

  • 7 + years in the role, in the Luxury/Fashion sector will be a plus
  • Scientific degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred
  • Good knowledge of supply chain & distribution processes in Luxury/Fashion industry
  • Good knowledge of IT Governance and IT Service Management best practices (Cobit, ITIL, etc.)
  • Good knowledge Project management methodologies
  • Management of Projects in Supply Chain & Distribution in large and complex companies
  • Soft skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple activities in a multi-tasking environment
    • Reactivity and flexibility in managing frequent changes
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and relational skills
    • Strong relationships building attitude
  • Technical skills:
    • Supply Chain & Distribution processes knowledge
    • Deep knowledge of Demand Planning processes
    • Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning processes
    • Apics certification would be an asset
