The position is part of Global Merchandising Dept. and reports to the Leather Goods Digital Merchandising Manager. The main mission of the role is to execute the omnichannel digital assortment strategy at WW level for the categories you oversee. You are the point person and the referent on Leather Goods categories, for the following departments: Corporate Digital and regional E_merchandising, WW Collection and Retail Merchandising, Regions, Digital VM and Supply Chain.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supervising the omnichannel assortment by region:
    • newness: review regional product selection, first allocation quantities/depths by SKUs, in season replenishment – omnichannel assortment in store to store and in find in store
    • carry over: support regional teams on the omnichannel assortment definition and collaboration with Demand Planning Team on monthly forecast check
    • stock management and allocation priority from central bulk to regions
  • Collaboration in the sales planning definition by category and collection and OTB allocation
  • Collaboration in managing the inventory to optimize stock level across region/channels through rebalancing actions and maximize sales
  • Support in the Bulk and Master Order quantities definition and distribution by region/channel and central bulk orders
  • Support the coordination of master order activities and key assortments by region/channel to ensure a balanced global product mix
  • Monitor Business performance and guarantee regular alignments with regional teams for the categories he/she oversees (weekly, monthly, seasonal basis)
  • Ensure that main investments are covered with communication support through a brief to Corporate e-merchandising, and revises the push live calendar according to product delivery
  • Verifies that online visual merchandising is reflecting the corporate guidelines and the buy priorities in partnership with corporate product content team
  • Ensure message consistency from ecard to landing pages through top hero alignment and VM revision in partnership with corporate product and digital content teams

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in economics, business management or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Italian
  • Fashion product sensitivity and comprehension of the industry (fashion and digital)
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in buying (ideally 1-3 years in digital)
  • Business acumen
  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Able to interacts with flexibility and diplomacy with the stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to work in team
  • Perfect knowledge of Microsoft package
