CONTEXT Following the constant innovation in its product portfolio, Gucci has just launched the new LIFESTYLE collection, fully reflecting Alessandro Michele's vision and joy. Reporting to the Licensing, Décor and Lifestyle Senior Merchandising Manager, Lifestyle Merchandiser plays a crucial role in planning and supporting the development of this new category. ROLE MISSION The Lifestyle Merchandiser integrates Retail and Collection Merchandising tasks, working on a double side: One oriented to the collection development and another focused on the business follow-up and retail opportunities. The primary mission of the role is to elaborate and support merchandising strategies while keeping constant coordination with the major department: Design, Product Development, Supply Chain, Productions, VM, and Training teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Intelligence

  • Gather and consolidate inputs coming from regions/channels on local business trends.
  • Elaborate a detailed market analysis over price positioning, competitors' activities, and collection opportunities.

Buying activities

  • Perform buying preparation analysis (efficiency, avg price, sku count by function)
  • Coordinate Master Order activities and key assortments by region/cluster to ensure a balanced global product mix
  • Define Master Order quantities distribution by region/channel
  • Coordinate buying process by area to properly prepare final reviews with WW teams.

 Inventory activities

  • Closely work with the Supply Chain team to monitor and optimize the inventory across regions and maximize sales 
  • Analyze selling trends and promote ST optimization thru reorders and cancellations

 Sales Activities

  • Regularly Monitor sales data
  • Define store clusters across the network and monitor their efficiency 
  • Maximize sales and results by region/channel through permanent collaborations with the regional buyers to better understand each market and exploit further business opportunities
  • Monitor collection efficiency to optimize the collection structure across all the regions/cluster

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand the current market and consumer trends
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Successful studies in business management, majoring in business administration or marketing
