MCQ Production Manager

How you will contribute
- Handle the production process and ensure results are aligned with company delivery targets
- Define the delivery windows with COO and Merchandising
- Assign the production orders to the appropriate suppliers. Ensure that suppliers receive the forecast, orders launch and monitor the production progress and delivery dates
- Collaborate with the Product Development department based in London for the timing of pre-production and industrialization activities
- Cooperate with Product Compliance in order to ensure that all the procedures, materials and production activities comply with Italian and foreign rules
- Participate in operations meetings with the COO, Merchandising, Sales ensuring all the reporting and analysis are correct and up to date
- Support the Legal Department for Supplier Contracts
- Supervise Engineering and Quality Control activities
- Share with Merchandising and Finance transport costs and standard production costs
- Manage the shipment planning of finished goods to the distribution warehouse
Who you are
- Previous experience in a similar role, with preferred experience on production planning for fashion apparel
- Experience of people management
- Expert in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of AS400 is a plus
- Accurate and well organized, you have attention for detail and are able to schedule your work, that of your team and your suppliers towards a well defined schedule
- Proven capacity to communicate at various levels with HQ and suppliers worldwide on operational and strategic matters
- Available to travel
- Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
