We are currently looking for proactive intern to join our dynamic Communication department for the DACH & NL region (PR, Events and Marketing) who will report to the Senior Communications Manager. The internship will be based in Munich from the beginning of July 2019, for at least 6 months.

Your opportunity:

You will be able to gain insights into all Communications department projects including but not limited to market research, organization of PR tools and marketing material, coordination of samples, fashion clippings, reporting, and support the organization and execution of local events.

You will be part of a dynamic regional team and gain valuable experience in PR, events and marketing activities by actively supporting the team in all fields.

Your key responsibilities / tasks:

  • Assisting the Communications Department in daily responsibilities:
  • Manage PR samples to fulfill shooting needs
  • Provide magazines with accurate credit information for product to be featured
  • Achieve and keep track of editorial coverage target
  • Support monthly editorial reports & presentations
  • Support sending Media Alerts & Sharing Editorial/VIP highlight newsletters
  • Update Press Contacts, compile project based contact lists ex. “Editor Birthdays”
  • Oversee Magazine Library – keep updated issues on file, call in missing publications
  • Assist with media research projects
  • Communicate with stores to ensure marketing tools use
  • Support brand events & Press Days
  • Assist to implement and manage boutique events
  • Post event recap preparation

Your profile / skills:

  • Studies in Advertising and Marketing Communications, Public Relations
  • Good English skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong writing skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest and passion for media (print and online)  
  • Open-minded, attentive to details, creative thinking
  • Work systematically with strong organization skills
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude & mindset
  • Great team player
  • Beneficial: First experience in fashion PR and potential first media relationships
