Role Mission

Based in the Gucci Group Watches and Jewelry offices located in Secaucus, New Jersey, the Account Executive for Latin American and the Caribbean will be responsible for working directly with the Sales Director for Latin America and the Caribbean as well as the area manager for the Caribbean.  He/she will be the coordinator/facilitator of the team, collecting and analyzing sales data, securing a perfect coordination with customer service in Cortaillod and the marketing and visual merchandising team in Secaucus.  He/She will reinforce the Latin American and Caribbean team by increasing efficiency in delivering our objective and by improving our brand presence with each account, coordinating and collaborating with customer service, planning, marketing and visual merchandising team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collect and analyze sales reports;
  • Send open orders to customers and coordinate with Planning and Finance;
  • Update store metrics, matrix and clustering files;
  • Coordinate with Sales Director and Planning Director budget, and forecast file submissions;
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising team on trunk shows, Shop-in-Shops and Pop up presentations;
  • Cultivate active dialogue with clients regarding product, brand positioning, marketing, visual merchandising and training;
  • Develop action-oriented proposals with manager;
  • Collaborate with manager to drive/grow business;
  • Review sales trends and seasonal projections;
  • Make visits to doors conducting general training with retailers;
  • Work closely with all internal company departments: Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure corporate guidelines and procedures are followed and budgets are adhered to;
  • Provide unparalleled customer service and follow up to each retailer when necessary;
  • Coordination with retailer, marketing team and trainer on seasonal training, sales campaigns and events – i.e. Trunk Shows, sales incentives, peak season sales support;
  • Adhere to all company budgets, policies and procedures;
  • Must be highly proficient in retail math, Excel and Power point.

Key Requirements

  • BA or BS Bachelor degree and 4+ years’ experience in related field;
  • Have a proven track record of achieving sales goals;
  • Multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing, international work environment;
  • Be schedule flexible and adaptable;
  • Strong proficiency and understanding of retail math;
  • Have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management;
  • Travel: local/domestic/international (valid, non-expired passport required);
  • Strong identification with and sensitivity for the brand;
  • High interest in and aptitude for unparalleled customer service;
  • Positive and contagious energy, motivation and pragmatism;
  • Strong retail fashion/luxury background;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently;
  • Professionally groomed in keeping with Gucci Image and standards;
  • Ability to maintain business relationships and foster new ones;
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bilingual English /Spanish, Portuguese a plus.
