Your opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Wholesale Analyst, reporting to VP of Wholesale, based in our New York Corporate Office. This individual will be responsible for supporting the wholesale team in achieving department objectives by collecting, synthesizing and analyzing sales data and providing insights to the team to inform strategic actions.

How you will contribute:

  • Reporting to VP of Wholesale with the primary objective to support managing, analyzing and growing the Alexander McQueen US Wholesale business

  • Cultivate strong relationships with teams by engaging in active and consistent dialogue regarding product, brand positioning, market share, pricing architecture, brand performance vs competition, strengths, opportunities and strategic business planning and support by infusing wholesale strategies with data driven insights and measurement

  • Capture and manage all business KPIs including, but not limited to fiscal sales, retail sales plans, inventory, sell thru, market share; synthesizing the information and reporting insights

  • Assist VP of Wholesale in creating compelling internal and external strategic presentations

  • Manage and report on multiple budgets

  • Manage the process of seasonal order entry and processing

  • Understand and monitor receipt flow and status on retailer/volume/style level and communicate to team

  • Prepare weekly/monthly/occasional reports and analysis about inventory and sales

  • Support wholesale team with administrative work as needed

Your Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years in luxury wholesale, planning, finance or related field. Prior analytical role is a plus

  • Passion for working with data and analysis to derive insights that inform strategic objectives

  • Experience with and passion for retail and ecommerce (Omni) business; luxury business a plus

  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, strategic, highly analytical and driven to achieve results

  • Proactive, collaborative, team oriented

  • Maintain a clear sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment by effectively prioritizing multiple projects

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite applications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Research or related discipline
