Based in Beverly Hills, the Worldwide Entertainment Industry Relations Menswear Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the dressing of the Menswear VIP’s for Gucci worldwide under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Entertainment Industry Relations.  In this role, the Senior Manager will support the department in implementing strategies and initiatives for the Entertainment Relations department worldwide to enhance Gucci’s presence in the fashion and entertainment industries and communicate the Creative Director’s vision.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for Menswear VIP dressing for Gucci North America;
  • Build and maintain relationships, both local and international, with celebrities, athletes, artists, influencers, publicists, agents, managers and stylists for the brand;
  • Manage and support VIPs with Menswear at company related events, launches and photo shoots and digital projects;
  • Research and identify new Menswear VIP targets for the brand;
  • Responsible for overseeing the LA showroom, Menswear sample closet and trafficking of all Menswear samples;
  • Oversee and coordinate all Menswear made-to-order (MTO) and made-to-measure (MTM) sample requests for award season, film festivals, special events and other projects with ongoing strategy for development of the DIY program;
  • Partner with the special projects’ office on Menswear special orders and tours;
  • Work with the department on controlling and monitoring Menswear WW VIP dressing requests;
  • Attend in store talent appointments;
  • Manage and coordinate global VIP mailing initiatives;
  • Create and distribute internal company dressing announcements;
  • Support with Los Angeles office sample and store consignment trafficking, record keeping and adjustments for Menswear;
  • Maintain Menswear VIP sample budgets;
  • Support research and assembly of all worldwide reports, presentations and initiatives;
  • Liaise with LA Studio Services department to monitor film and celebrity shopping updates.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience at similar level in the VIP Relations/Entertainment field;
  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Menswear, including fabrics, styles, fit, tailoring, etc. is required;
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Entertainment Industry;
  • Experience working in a similarly visible role, within a high profile, global organization;
  • Exemplary, communication professionalism and social skills;
  • Able to liaise with multiple communications offices and creative departments globally to coordinate and maintain Menswear VIP dressing;
  • Strategic thinker able to research and present new talent in order to reinforce Gucci’s presence in the fashion, entertainment and art communities;
  • Established high level relationships and contacts in the entertainment/fashion industry; (celebrities, agents, managers, stylists and publicists);
  • Comfortable networking within the entertainment, fashion, music, art and other social are;
  • Must be a highly effective, adaptable communicator able to work cross-functionally with various internal teams, both domestic and international (global);
  • Detail orientated, capable of managing multiple / competing projects and deadlines that involve multiple global teams;
  • Hands on mindset, comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities of the role with a team first mindset;
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced everchanging environment;
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative;
  • Works well under pressure with multiple deadlines, often with minimal timeframes;
  • Flexibility with ever-changing schedules and priorities, and ability to travel as necessary, last minute and internationally;
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree.
