Your Opportunity

This is a newly created position due to growth, where you will report directly to a Tax Manager with additional mentoring and visibility to tax leadership, as well as with finance groups at the company’s brands. This is an exciting time in our tax department as we are taking our processes to the next level of automation, as well as implementing tax reform and converting to SAP.

How you will contribute

The Tax Accountant is responsible for the collection of tax-related information, reporting to tax authorities at the federal, state, county, and local levels in a timely manner, and working with the Kering Tax Team on the tax impact of various corporate strategies. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare federal income tax returns, including the reporting of cross-border transactions
  • Prepare multi-state income tax returns, including state apportionment schedules
  • Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return extensions
  • Assist with the preparation of the income tax provision under US GAAP and IFRS
  • Assist with tax authority audits

Who you are

  • 2 years’ minimum relevant tax experience (Big 4 experience preferred)
  • Federal income tax compliance experience required
  • Tax accounting/provision (ASC740) knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA and/or advanced degree is a plus)
  • Experience using OneSource tax software and fixed asset depreciation calculations preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse individuals across the business
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment while owning assignments and meeting deadlines
