Join our passionate journey and fulfill your potential and creativity. We are currently seeking a Merchandising Manager to join our dynamic team in our Sydney office located in the CBD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • To achieve the budget sales and monitor sales performance, stock level, delivery status to ensure an effective stock inventory in coordination with sales and inventory planners
  • To maximize the launch of the new collection (product training, stock monitoring), and elaborate strategies to boost the sell-through throughout each season (stock rebalancing, incentive, product focus, cross selling proposal)
  •  To ensure an optimal assortment and product mix in each store to meet customer demands and explore potential new sales opportunities
  • To work closely with Regional teams to define the merchandise selection by store during the showroom in Italy in accordance with Corporate directions and ensure an optimized range plan
  • To visit regularly stores to identify business opportunities, review merchandising plans and review store environment and competitors
  •  To partner and work closely with stores to review sales performance and elaborate action plans to ensure the Merchandising strategies are implemented
  • To act as a support for stores during events in collaboration with Consumer Management
  • To work with Visual merchandisers to ensure Visual Merchandising guidelines are implemented, and propose actions adapted to both brand image and business needs
  •  To partner with Consumer Management, Visual Merchandising, Retail Departments, Communications to align merchandising, clientelling and sales strategies.
  • To report regularly to General Management for sales performance, inventory situations and merchandising actions

Learning and Training

  • Complete all trainings as advised to you by your management team and/or Instore Training Ambassador and any other parties meeting all deadlines
  • Participate in development training as required by your management team

Workplace Health and Safety

  • Ensure compliance to the Safety Management System and all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policies
  • Report all incidents, hazards and near misses as required by all staff, both to your direct manager and Human Resources where applicable and on the reporting platform


  • Utilize all company tools including iPhone, iPad etc and company applications effectively, efficiently and as required by the business
  • Ensure active participation on company provided platforms such as Workplace, Workday, ENTO, Retail Training Portal, LUCE, etc
  • Comply to all Gucci and Kering Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
  • All other ad hoc duties as required by your manager

Required Qualifications and Experience

Work experience

  • Degree in business or relevant subject and working experience in Luxury Fashion Merchandising
  • 10 years previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a high-volume retail or service-based industry ,in the luxury environment
  • Exposure to International ang global companies
