Join our passionate journey and fulfil your potential and creativity. We are currently seeking a Retail Training Manager as part of our dynamic team in Hong Kong. How you will contribute Responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the training and development initiatives for retail staff at all levels primarily in Hong Kong and Macau. The main objective is to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skill sets, standards, and highly motivated and engaged in contributing to the achievement of business objectives and the company’s vision and values.

This role is heavily focus on retail operational training :

  • Champion training programs to create a positive and performance driven culture
  • Working in collaboration with line managers, analyze competency gaps, identify training needs and develop effective training programs meeting the business needs
  • Ensure that appropriate training programs are designed and delivered in an effective and timely manner
  • Manage the delivery, quality and cost of training programs including planning and coordinating training calendar, venues and participants
  • Provide professional expertise in development of training materials for in-house training and ensure they are kept up to date and align with corporate programs
  • Conduct post training evaluation to ensure effectiveness, applicability and continuous improvement of training programs
  • Assist in executing succession planning, competency building and talent development in accordance with the group strategies and directions
  • Manage training administration and exercise budgetary control
  • Facilitate effective implementation of the competency-based performance management system
  • Other duties may be assigned

Who you are

  • Degree Holder in Training, Human Resources Management, Psychology or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in training and development with minimum 3 years in supervisory level and preferably have experience in retail/hospitality industry
  • Strong in needs analysis, facilitation and training delivery skills
  • Mature, confident, positive mindset and excellent people skills to work with different cultures and all levels of staff
  • A self starter with strong organization and influencing skills, able to work with limited guidance and resources
  • Possess a strong passion in fostering a learning culture and developing talents
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
