Summary
Reporting to the head of Real Estate, Kering Greater China, the key function for this role is to support envision and continue in developing real estate business strategy across greater china, for all existing brands in the Kering Group. This position will be based in the Kering Shanghai Corporate Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support all real estate operations and activities in Greater China.
- To search and acquire new opportunities suitable for brands for retail stores, office, warehouse and storage needs.
- To act as the “knowledge-bank” of real estate projects in Greater China for existing brand heads as well as new partners.
- To monitor top lease renewals of the most important store locations for projects in Greater China and work with brands for ongoing real estate strategy.
- To prepare regular real estate related reports to all brand heads.
- To prepare analysis relating to the Greater China markets and to begin a group wide strategy on its retail network / retail footprint.
- To lead the timely communication and sharing of information across all brands for business development opportunities in Greater China.
- To coordinate and update the real estate database and reports with all brands in a timely manner.
- To continue the relationship developed by real estate with key landlords, and at times, to lead the negotiations with landlords on new sites, in full collaboration with the brands and the Legal Department
- To support head of Real Estate Greater China, providing coaching and guidance for the team member.
- To contribute improving current workflow of internal and external communication.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in International Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or its equivalent
- Minimum 7 years solid real estate experience gained from MNCs ideally from luxury, high-end fashion or real estate developer
- Proven experience in dealing with real estate though:
- Knowledge of China markets and the luxury business
- Proficiency in contract negotiations
- Advanced abilities in excel, specifically in business analysis
- An extensive landlord and retailer network
- Articulate, with excellent presentation skills
- Personality and professionalism that fits the culture of Kering: honesty, the spirit of collaboration and openness to take on a variety of roles as needed by the team
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Preferrable with people management experience.
- Knowledge of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan market would be a plus.
