LUXURY TIMEPIECES Product Marketing and Promotion Coordinator

How you will Contribute

1. Shape the offerings

- Sales analysis: follow-up of business activity by product category and recommend action plans

- Product portfolio management: novelties vs. pillars, product life cycle management and pricing

- Market trends analysis: competitors’ offerings, market expectations and consumer insights

2. Merchandising

- Make product forecasts and place order of novelties, propose assortments, launch quantities and timing

- Follow delivery timings and products dispatch throughout the distribution network

- Provide product information and insights (design and selling points) to relevant teams: update merchandising

calendar, share information on new products and price change

- Assist conducting Marketing & Communications activities for key product launches and animations

3. Sales Promotion & Sales Support

- Plan and update annual promotional calendar

- Initiate and operate product assortment for events (Pop-up stores, fairs and Gaisho activities) throughout the year

- Define and supervises VM plans

- Support organizing trade events: Baselworld and Sales Meetings to take orders of novelties from retailers

4. Coordination with other departments and Switzerland HQ

- Collaborate closely with GUCCI Japan Merchandising and E-commerce team to support DOS/E-commerce/Outlet


- Communicate and coordinate with Switzerland HQ about new product launches and delivery, special requests to

meet market needs

- Coordinate the product actions within marketing strategy with Retail sales/shop staff and Wholesale sales team

- Collaborate with Logistics and Demand Planning team to support sales activities

Who you are

 Experience: minimum 5 years in product marketing and merchandising in retail business. FMCG experience preferred.

Luxury, fashion or watch & jewelry experience will be a plus.

 Skills required

 Language: Fluent in Japanese and English; writing, reading and speaking

 Advance level of PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

 Strong planning, analytical and numeral skills

 Communication and interpersonal skill

 Behavioral competencies:

 Sensitivity to fashion trends, consumer oriented (targeting mainly female 20’s – 30’s)

 Dynamic, proactive, open minded, curious, creative and flexible

 Capable to anticipate, listen, analyze, organize, coordinate and build recommendations
