As Alexander McQueen continues its worldwide growth an exciting opportunity has opened up for a Financial Director to join our team in the London head office.
This is a pivotal role in supporting the CFO and other senior managers throughout the business. We are looking for an experienced and driven finance professional who is passionate about fashion and will enjoy working in an international, fast paced and dynamic environment.
Primary responsibility of the Finance Director is to manage the corporate finance team and lead all core finance processes, accountable for the development of a future best in class finance function, and for the provision of timely and accurate financial information within the company and externally. As Finance Director your role will be a mix of financial planning and reporting plus commercial & strategic analysis. You will provide support to non-finance, marketing, retail and operations to drive effective decision making and holding them accountable to robust budgets.
How you will contribute:
Management and development of corporate finance team
Act as a link between the brand and parent group (Kering)
Ensure that Finance is at all times closely integrated with and positively supports the business, providing managers at all levels with the necessary information to maximise sales, profitability and efficiency.
Review Business controls, and in partnership with Regional controllers, develop and implement Best Practice across the business
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process with all regions to ensure precise and robust financial targets
Ensure that all period end and reporting processes are timely, robust and guarantee the integrity of the information to the parent group (Kering) and external parties.
Ensure the continual development of finance systems, reporting, management packs, and KPIs.
Lead and participate on key financial projects
Your skills & experience:
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with significant post qualification experience within industry.
Proven and recurring senior management experience
Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritise and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team-oriented environment
Luxury Fashion Retail and Wholesale experience preferred
Hyperion HFM and SAP experience preferred
