Your opportunity:
 

Alexander McQueen have an exciting opportunity for an e-merchandiser to join the e-Business team during a pivotal moment for the House.  Reporting to the global e-Business Merchandising Manager this person will be responsible for providing support in creating and executing the online merchandising to drive end-to-end sales, gross margin and inventory strategies Worldwide.


How you will contribute:

  • Support the divisional site merchandising strategies that align with product, financial and marketing goals
  • With guidance from Merchandising Manager, establish a product assortment respecting the e-Business strategies for the .com and other digital doors within the e-business region WW
  • Assist to achieve seasonal sales and profit targets based on seasonal business plan
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports to closely monitor performance, highlighting key findings and deep-diving into category where necessary
  • Use analysis of weekly performance to identify strategic opportunities and take actions to maximise profits
  • Make recommendations for changes and improvements to maximise sales and profit potential
  • Work closely with relevant teams on the stock management and replenishment process, ensuring timely deliveries and that stock levels are optimised
  • Prepare and manage seasonal markdowns
  • Execute VM needs of product experience on the site
  • Support customer experience across both mobile and desktop supported by a deep knowledge and understanding of technical features and e-commerce functionality with an understanding how the site functions (limitations and opportunities)
  • Oversee operational needs related to product as the key point of contact for the warehouse operations
  • Ad-hoc analysis

Your skills and experience:

  • You will ideally have commercial experience gained in a fashion retail merchandising environment with an understanding of the luxury sector
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, advanced Excel knowledge essential
  • You will have strong attention to detail, great organisational skills and works to a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships with other internal and external teams and functions for personal and business development
