Alexander McQueen are currently seeking a Junior Merchandiser to work across our WRTW collection, reporting in to the WRTW Associate Merchandiser based in our central London offices.
Your Opportunity?
The WRTW Junior Merchandiser, together with the WRTW Associate Merchandiser will play a key role in supporting our merchandising strategy for the core of the business.
How you will contribute?
Supporting the WRTW Merchandiser with formulating & implementing the growth strategy within the category and co-ordinating with Design, Product development and Commercial teams.
Set up and send out trade reports on the category.
Complete the sell in analysis & actively perform sell out analysis per collection to help the WRTW Associate Merchandiser defining product cycle life and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Manage competitor analysis for the category, by interpreting market needs, trends and identify opportunities to enhance the collection.
Propose category styling guidelines (Online & In-Store) to maximise sales & profit opportunities.
Preparation of training materials that are fit for purpose and suitable for use by our Wholesale, Buying and Retail teams - transmitting depth of product knowledge acquired throughout the development process.
Support throughout the selling campaign, on catalogue management & delivery report.
Lead on the shooting of the sample sets.
Establish and maintain relationships with the retail buying teams by working closely as a strategic support.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Communications, PR, Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Visual Merchandising.
Who you are?
Previous experience in Women’s merchandising is necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills with sensitive discretion when needed.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and keen on learning additional systems
Extensive analytical and numeracy skills.
Flexibility to travel with short notice and to work a demanding schedule which can include on an ad-hoc basis.
Has a passion for luxury industry, with a good sense of product and details and strong understanding of mentioned categories markets
Fluent in English / Italian optional
