    Jo​b : Opérations Transformation Strategic Planning Director

    Mission : the Operations Transformation Director strategically aligns the operations department with the Maison's overall strategy, focusing on stock management, organizational structures, and production and logistics processes.

    This role ensures Boucheron's operations are agile, data-driven, and aligned with the company’s vision of excellence and development.

    Leading a team of project managers and overseeing the product database management department, the Operations Transformation Director drives transformation and digitization efforts within the operations function.

    Key Responsibilities :

    "Shine" Strategic Business Plan

    • Support the annual update of the Shine strategic plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Align departments on stock levels by product category, promoting end-to-end process awareness and a transversal approach.
    • Participate in organizational reviews addressing team size, skills, and mindset.
    • Support decision-making processes to ensure strategic execution.
    • Develop and maintain a risk assessment matrix for proactive threat management.
    • Identify transformation needs within the Operations department.
    • Support activity reviews and periodic follow-ups to track progress and adapt strategies.

    Budgets and Sales & Operations Meetings

    • Participate in the budget implementation for the upcoming year, ensuring consistency with the SHINE strategic plan and current year revisions.
    • Prepare and lead monthly Sales & Operations committees.
    • Align departments on stock levels by product category and propose necessary adjustments.
    • Prepare supporting documents for arbitration by COO and CEO.
    • Share KPIs during S&O committees to manage the performance of House Operations.
    • Ensure the implementation of committee decisions.

    Inventories Optimization

    • Lead teams to take action on inventory optimization.
    • Clarify organizational responsibilities to make processes autonomous, revisiting the organization and competencies as needed.
    • Identify transformation projects to optimize inventory.

    Digitization and Transformation Projects

    • Define the strategy for transforming operational processes to support growth and achieve performance and excellence objectives.
    • Supervise a team of 4 project managers within the Operations department.

    Products Database

    • Supervise a team of 2 responsible for updating the product database (i.e. Basic Product Information, Material Details, Gemstone Information, Dimensions and Measurements, Manufacturing Details, Quality and Certification, Pricing and Inventory…)
    • Guarantee the accuracy and accessibility of data and creation of a KPI dashboard.

    Required skills :

    Strategic Leadership:  Proven ability to drive and implement transformative strategies. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

    Financial Acumen: In-depth understanding of financial management, including cash flow, budgeting, and risk assessment. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

    Change Management: Expertise in change management to drive process improvements and adoption of new strategies. Skill in enhancing data-driven decision-making through dashboard implementation.

    Project Management: Experience in project management, ensuring on-time and on-budget implementation of strategic initiatives. Skill in supporting yearly strategic plan updates and ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.

    Organizational Agility: Understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to clarify accountability and review organizational structures and skillsets as necessary.

    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess interdependencies and potential impacts on different departments.

    Leadership and People Management: Strong leadership skills to oversee a team, and pilot activities cross functionally.

    Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges in a dynamic environment.

    Communication and Presentation: Effective communication and presentation skills to convey strategic insights and facilitate decision-making processes. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with various departments and stakeholders.

    Results-Driven: A focus on achieving and exceeding objectives, aligning with the company's 2024 and 2025 cash management and budget goals.

    Ethical and Sustainable Leadership: Commitment to ethical business practices and sustainability, aligning with Boucheron's values.

    Experience & qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, management, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in a management role, with a strong track record of achievements within the finance or operations functions.
    • Previous experience with a transversal transformation project is preferrable.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
    • Fluent in English and French.
