Role Mission The DATA SCIENTIST will be working alongside a Senior Data Scientist and Media Effectiveness Manager to build data-driven, web-based marketing analytical tools and working on data flow and algortighm development. In particular, this role will be dedicated to maintain, innovate and expad the GUCCI Marketing ROI engine, aimed at driving higher marketing effectiveness across all media channels.


·       Create analytical insights from marketing data to drive more effective marketing mix decisions

·       Utilize stastical modelling solutions and algorithms to forecast potential returns of marketing investments

·       Set-up, review and maintain APIs and data pipelines to major digital advertising platforms (Google, Facebook, WeChat, …)

·       Support in preparing and validating incrementality tests across digital marketing platforms

·       Produce and maintain dashboards and visualization tools

·       Maintain the GUCCI Marketing ROI engine and the relevant business logics on daily basis

·       Support the Senior Data Scientist to improve the model, managining the backlog of improvements for the engine, collecting requirements from the business and proactively identifying new opportunities

·       Integrate new channels and regions into the model end-to-end (including building APIs, preparaing / validating the data, …)

·       Support the Media Effectiveness Sr. Manager and GUCCI ROAS Analyst in data quality management

·       Timely communicate changes and development in progress to all users, keeping them up-to-speed with the latest changes on the relevant model and dashboard


Key Requirements

·       2-3 years of experience in Data Science and/or Data Engineer role

·       Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipine

·       Proficient Python developer (Pandas, MatPlotLib, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy, Statsmodels)

·       Good SQL skills

·       Proved experience in development and production of ML (supervised and unsupervised) models

·       Experience using and setting-up APIs

·       Experience and skills in Data Visualization tools (Tableau)

·       Experience with versioning systems (GIT)

·       Cloud computing skills (AWS, GCP)

·       Fluent in English, other languages are a plus

Nice to have

·       Knowledge of Kedro development framework

·       Experience building data pipelines

·       Knowledge of virtualization tools is a plus (Docker)

·       Knowledge of web development framework is a plus (Flask)

·       Background in digital marketing, marketing mix modeling, marketing analytics is a plus

·       Interest for the fashion, luxury and digital industry

·       Eager to learn, discover and develop skills

·       Interest in AI/Deep Learning and related Python libraries

·       Ability to take initiative and work independently

·       Confidence with working in a multicultural, global organization
