GUCCI Department Manager

Role Mission Gucci is leading the Luxury revolution with our Creative Director Alessandro Michele's beautiful designs changing the way that our generations consumes luxury products. We are searching for a Passionate and e Leader who has experience of leading large teams and driving multi million pound turnover. As Department Manager you are to support the Store Manager in ensuring the achievement of the store business goals (sales and profitability) by Training the Sales Associates closely and developing their soft skills and capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

Sales and Customer Management

• Establish and implement Action Plans, in agreement with the other Managers, in order to develop sales for each product category and client segment

• Support the achievement of business goals and strategic projects, keeping in constant connection with Corporate functions

• Ensure the implementation of Clienteling / CRM initiatives to develop a clientele network for the store

• Ensure, in agreement with the Store Manager, the development of motivation, sense of belonging and business involvement

Store Image Management

• Assist the Store manager in ensuring the correct interpretation and implementation of visual guidelines, keeping store employees up to date about visual issues, and ensuring that best sellers products are displayed, through a close cooperation with Senior Sales Associates /Department Managers and with the Visual Display Team

• Take care of the general look of the store / departments in terms of cleanness, tidiness and efficiency, in order to ensure the best image of products and store, in line with the Gucci brand communication and promotion strategy

Store Operation Management

• Support the maintenance of stock and inventory accuracy, in line with corporate policies and procedures

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within a Luxury Fashion business

• Ability to train sales assoiates closely, developing their key skills in a fast paced environment

• Proven ability to drive results

• Previous people management experience is essential

• Commercial awareness and strong business acumen

• Talent for managing, coaching and developing a team

• Strong communication skills
