Your Opportunity Gucci is seeking a Men’s Ready to Wear Junior Designer passionate about Digital drawing, for its Creative Office. Following the guidelines and input of the MRTW Designer you will support Designers developing a collection/special project in line with the Brand aesthetic and principles.

How you will contribute (key accountabilities)

Research trends and inspirations:

  • Conduct latest trends analyses and elaborate new creative ideas and proposals
  • Based on a theme or on Design Director inputs, research inspiration through: Vintage markets, Suppliers, Archives, Web, Expositions, Books

Design and creativity:

  • Develop sketches based on Designer/Design Director inputs
  • Modify or integrate sketches in terms of size, proportion, materials and colors
  • Support Designers applying graphic corrections (e.g. colors, materials) on draws and develop rendering

Collection development:

  • Support Designer in dealing with practical and operational requests coming from Product Development
  • Organize the Board to present the collection to the Design Director, under the supervision of the Designer
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations to show the Collection/Special Project developed by the category
  • Collaborate with Designers in dressing models during the fittings

Things that should be in your background

  • Previous short experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge in product development constructions, materials, fabrics, techniques, and industrial production processes
  • Good hand drawing skills
  • Mastering the main Digital drawing tools: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite
  • Fluency in English
