Your opportunity
Become a member of the Inventory Control Team, currently held within the Supply Chain Financial Department. You will handle central warehouse inventory control, management and financial evaluation.
How you will contribute
Manage accounting warehouse master records and verify their proper handling
Control the process that determines the average value of items and the value of the warehouse at each monthly closing
Prepare and share monthly warehouse movement and valuation reports with each Division
Know and monitor logistics flows in relation to supplier and customer orders, allocations, and the flow of goods on consignment
Monitor supplier credit notes for returned merchandise, in coordination with the Accounts Payable department
Coordinate with warehouse staff for physical inventory and align accounting warehouse with physical inventory data for cycle counts and year-end inventory. performance calculations
Calculate the annual performance KPI of the warehouse keeping track of any discrepancy
Manage technical and commercial returns with related invoice entry and accrual
Supervise the flow and transfer of goods and accounting systems: document the charging and discharging of merchandise from the warehouse
Analyze historical data and develop budgets and forecasts for Inbound and Stock on Hand
Daily verification of consistency between Enterprise Resource Planning and Wharehouse Management System data.
Who you are
High school graduate, a university degree in economics will be considered a plus
A professional with at least a former experience in a similar role in an international company
Knowledgeable about accounting principles and warehouse logistics practices
Expert in Excel, with a good command of Power Point and familiar with Access. The knowledge of AS400 and SAP will be considered as a plus
An independent, flexible and reliable team player with solid analytical and organizational skills
Proactive problem solver with the ability to independently deep dive into issues, analyze and identify solutions
A proactive individual who is able to regularly meet tough deadlines and handle a high volume of tasks
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
