Your opportunity
You will form an integral part of the Payments and Transport Finance Control Department within the Integrated Logistics Business Unit, ensuring accurate accounting registers for transport costs. You will also support the daily and monthly account workflow and analysis as well as collaborating with diverse departments to process and track company payments. This engaging role will allow you to manage the transport finance of our luxury brands.
How you will contribute
Ensure regularity, quality and timing of actions required to process and track transport cost invoices according to standard operating procedures
Record monthly general accounting
Manage payment and supplier data forms, verify supplier statements
Process documents required for transportation cost analysis and prepare reports and presentation for performance reviews for brands, highlighting any deltas
Interact and collaborate with finance, customer service, customs, transport, warehouse and credit collection departments as well as banks and the chamber of commerce
Prepare budgets and forecasts by collaborating with the Transportation, Billing, and Inventory departments
Use of the TMS Transport Tool for provisions calculation, cost verification and transport flow analysis
Manage Trecate flow documents, summarizing costs, analysing and balancing with Kering’s accounting in Italy
Who you are
High school graduate, a university degree in economics will be considered a plus
An individual with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a multinational company
Knowledgeable about principles that govern the general and fiscal accounting of a company
Expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Independent and flexible and reliable individual able to work both in team and autonomously
Effective and positive team player with excellent communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Proactive and committed person, with analytical approach, able to regularly meet challenging deadlines and handle a high volume of tasks
Fluent in Italian with a good command of English, both written and spoken
