MCQ Digital Content Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Digital Content Coordinator to join our growing MCQ London team.
MCQ are looking for a highly talented candidate to join the Comms team based at our London HQ. You’ll be acting as a brand ambassador and you will be supporting the development of the brand’s social media presence. This role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to develop and grow their digital and social expertise in line with the MCQ vision.
How you will contribute:
Manage the day-to-day scheduling and posting of worldwide Digital content including all social media channels, supporting our regions and agencies where appropriate
Monitoring all posts and comments across the MCQ brand social media platforms, responding, and escalating where appropriate
Work closely with the wider marketing team to build best in class and innovative digital focused social campaigns
Collaborate with our internal copywriter to prepare draft social media copy for sign off
Attending briefing meetings to develop an understanding of image usage rights and contracts, calculating timelines to meet deadlines, as well as attending and support the shoots
Assisting with all creative projects relating to digital, across both pre and post-production
Proactively coordinate and own the day-to-day digital calendar
Support in managing social assets, ensuring assets are cropped and edited for optimal viewing on social with our internal graphic designers
Support on formatting artworks/assets delivering to the Marketing and E-commerce teams
Support in delivery, asset management and uploading of content on MCQ’s web platform MYMCQ when necessary
Proactively input into the overall digital strategy and into the wider communications function by suggesting new talent, third party pages and creatives to work with.
Your Skills and Experience:
Understand and embrace the MCQ vision
Highly organised with the utmost level of attention to detail
Calm and resilient when working under pressure, in a fast paced and within a deadline driven environment
Numerate, with an interest in analytics, whilst demonstrating a passion and interest in creative online writing
You are a social media expert, and you have experience in managing multiple online platforms as well as social media influencer led campaigns
You have experience creating and editing social video content
Excellent written copy and verbal communication skills (proof reading required)
Previous experience in a similar role. Preferably acquired in a fashion, luxury retail or tech/ digital company
