ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. We are currently seeking a Cashier who will report to the Operation Manager as part of our dynamic team.


Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Cashier contributes actively supporting the store sales, by providing a remarkable service to all internal and external clients, supporting the management team and representing the Company brand and image.


A Business Developper:

Support the business handling all the cash desk and administrative activities

Set up the till for the day, be aware of the correct payment procedures and ensure that all transactions are processed correctly

A Team Player:

Participate in maintaining a positive work environment


A Brand Promoter:

Greet clients; appraise customers' needs and give the best service possible at all times

Ensure that all delicate situations regarding customer complaints are dealt with manager support if needed

Work with all internal and external stakeholders (contractors, staff, clients), with a service-oriented, collaborative, available and versatile approach

A Process Supporter:

Ensure that all systems and procedures such as distant sales order, postage, V.A.T. refunds etc. are followed accurately

Deal efficiently with repairs enquiries, follow up administrative part of After Sales tool and communications with the HQ Front Office

Be aware of the Company policy on complaints, returns and exchange procedures

Follow-up consignments (press, VIP, corporate)

Communicate with proper services for store maintenance

Order and organize office supplies, food and beverages

Follow up and control store invoices and handle CITES papework


  • Previous experience as cashier
  • Fluent English, other language skills would be a plus
  • High sensitivity to products, good knowledge of Luxury  retail
  • Great people-skills and communication skills
  • Able to work on one’s own and in a team
  • Adaptable, problem-solving skills, able to learn procedures and follow instructions
  • Available, flexible and dynamic, able to function in a high-pace environment
  • Organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Keen on honoring one’s commitments on task completion and timing
